Office Makeover (in progress)!

Over the last few years I have been in the process of redoing my room and office. I've posted a couple of photos along the way, as you can see in these posts. My office has seemed to be the part of the process that I've just been STUCK on. I've been waiting on one thing after another…and it's not quite finished, but it is SO close that I just had to go ahead and share. I have to admit, it takes me a long time to get projects like this done. I have to find the perfect paint color, perfect shelves, and the right knickknacks to go on the shelves.  It always amazes me when people redo a room and it's fully decorated and finished within a week or so. Sometimes it annoys me that it takes me way longer. A lot of times I never get around to sharing or blogging some of my stuff because "it isn't finished yet". So I'm going to go ahead and press the "save" button and this blogpost will be up. It's not finished yet, but it's so so close! :)

I just have to point out my amazing desk that my brother in law made for me. I've looked at all of the pinterest offices, and have been brain storming about a desk for a long time. Matt took those pictures and my ideas, and made me a desk WAY cooler than I even thought! You should check out his work here.

My dad helped me hang all my shelves up and it looks sooo good. Now I just need to get some curtains and a light in there. woohoo!

And of course, the Christmas decorations make it way fun to work in there. ;)

The Hornigold Family

One of my favorite things about the fall and Christmas season is taking family pictures. I especially love it when I get to photograph the same families every year. The Hornigolds are some of my favorites. During their photo sessions we do a lot of running around and playing and there are plenty of squeals and sweet laughter. Love it.

Tom and Tasha :: Married

This is definitely the most creative and beautiful wedding I have been to. The Shupe family (and many friends) worked countless hours to make this day come together perfectly for Tom and Tasha. From the beautiful tulle hanging from the ceiling, to the custom "hershey bars", there was not a detail that was left out!
Tom and Tasha are two of the most genuine and loving people you'll meet…along with their families. It was truly an honor to photograph their wedding! Who doesn't love being a part of such a fun party? Oh, and a wedding is a perfect excuse to visit Colorado!
