Europe Trip: Germany

Britt started planning her trip to Europe last summer...and she let me join in. Ever since I visited Germany and Romania 4 years ago, I knew I wanted to come back again.

Our first leg of the trip was in Germany. We had a 4 hour layover in Berlin, so even though we were dead tired from the travels we decided we needed to see a few things. I really didn't even want to pull out my camera while we sleep-walked around the city, but I knew I regret it later if I didn't. So here are a few highlights.

I LOVE the Taxis.

Reichstag

Cafes are all over. Favorite.

I'm always so impressed with how close they can parallel park.

And of course, there is always a souvenir shop.

The Holocaust Memorial.

And then we had the long train rides. Always fun.

The air conditioning went out on the train...on one of the hottest days. They passed out water...sooo nice!

Navigating.

This Starbucks in Leipzig was the coolest...

So so green!

The houses in East Germany.
