Chris and Tara :: Engaged

As I've mentioned before, the Wilds is one of my favorite places. I attended camp there 9 summers, and worked there for 2 summers. One of the things I love most about it is all of the amazing people I've met there. People that love God.  People that truly want to see you grow and succeed and love God.

The summer of 2010 I went to their CIT program (two weeks of leadership camp). Tara was my counselor for the first week. She was referred to as "Momma Tara". She was "in charge" of us 9 (?) girls, and we became a close family that week. She challenged us spiritually, loved us genuinely, and had fun right along with us! We all loved her to death, and I still think of that week as one of the best I've had. Of course, during that week we asked her the famous camper question..."Do you have a boyfriend?" At the time she didn't, but now a few years later, she's about to get married!

I was so excited when she asked me about taking their engagement pictures! She and Chris are adorable! They are so great in front of the camera and they just have a blast being together! I couldn't be happier for the two of them, and can't wait to see how God uses them in this next chapter of their lives!

Hannah kate :: Lifestyle

I love to look and see how far photography has come. From posed and stiff to candid and relaxed, it has become a true picture of real life and memories. Some of the sweetest moments take place while we're doing the mundane and some of our greatest memories happen on a day to day basis.

I took these pictures of my sweet niece last week during "just a regular day". I think they might be some of my favorites that I have of her!

The Lawrence Family :: Lifestyle

Sometimes I walk away from a photo session and can't wait to get home and load the pictures on my computer! Tuesday night's shoot was definitely one of those. The Laurence family welcomed me into their home and we had a blast! They were so easy-going and up for anything! Little Rowan's eyes pretty much followed me where ever I was...he was so curious about about that big camera being pointed at him! Just look at how adorable they are...
