The Holiday Deal! And... a bit of catching up!

First I'll start with the catching up. My goodness! Where has the year gone? Is it really the end of October already? I can hardly believe it! I know there has not been a whole lot of activity on the blog, but I have been staying busy taking lots of pictures! I update my Facebook Page pretty often. It's just so much faster than uploading the pictures to a thousand different places! Yes, I'm exaggerating....but, it really is very convenient! So if you haven't already, check it out!

Another update (that I'm very excited about) is that my website is finally finished! It took quite a bit of time, but with the help of some amazing friends (Anna Hammond and Paige Overturf) it is finally finished! I'm super excited about that. Sooo I definitely think you should swing by and take a look at it!

And now for the big announcement! *drum roll* I am now offering mini sessions! My schedule is so full (as is most everyone's) that I thought I take a day (starting at 10:00 am) and book it full of 30 minute mini sessions. The date will be Saturday, November 13, 2010. We will meet at a planned location at the Marietta square, and have some fun for 30 minutes! Because it is a holiday deal, the group number is unlimited! Woohoo! That long as there are not 100 people there. ;-) There is a deadline though! You must book your session by November 5, 2010 so that I can know who to plan on. Want to know what you will get out of this? Here are the details!

- 30 Minutes with me!
- a disk with 20-25 photos
- copyright release for unlimited prints
(Just so you know that ^^ means you can use the images for gifts, Christmas cards, and of course Facebook profile pictures. ;-) And many more things!)

All of this for $100!

So! Email me at so we can set up your time for photos! I'm so excited about the day!

(Offer ends November 5, 2010)

Lauren and Kate :: Portraits

These little girls are simply ADORABLE! During the summer my sister babysat them a good bit, and I even got a chance to babysit them some too. They are so sweet, and super photogenic!

Charles and Shelley :: Portraits

At the very end of August, I was asked to take some photos of Charles and Shelley for their anniversary. It was a gift from Shelley's mom. We had so much fun walking around finding some great spots for photos. They were always awesome to brave the super hot July weather!

David and Tina :: Married

Look who's blogging! I know, it has been months! Between craziness and the lack of time to blog, I've mainly been updating my fan page on Facebook (which can be found Here) with recent photos.
I've been uploading pictures for quite a while, so look out for some more blog posts coming up. I might write a few tonight.

Anyway, here are just a few from David and Tina's wedding back in July. Enjoy!

VBS fun!

Last week we had Vacation Bible School at our church. I was a team leader this year so I didn't get to take near as many pictures as I usually do. I got sick on Thursday, so Friday I walked around taking pictures instead of working with my team.

We had such a great week! There were so many volunteers, and we had close to two-hundred kids in attendance. Twenty-seven came to know the Lord as personal savior! God blessed everyone's efforts so much!

A mommy and her boys.

As many of you know, I have a lot of sisters. My oldest sister is married and has the two most addorable boys in the world. I know, I might be a little prejeduce...but seriously, look at the pictures. They don't get much cuter than that. So as a father's day gift for Matt (my sisters husband) we all went out to the square to get some pictures. The boys did a wonderful job!! We got a few smiley/posed pictures, then we let the boys loose to play on the train. After that, Sherilyn bought them some ice cream. So I'd say it was a pretty successful day for us all ;-)

JaneBatson :: Portraits

It's JaneBatson on the blog again! Many of you probably remember this adorable girl from her Christmas pictures. She and her mom Kendra were visiting Georgia and stayed at our house for a few days. It's always so good to see them again, and of course we had to do a photoshoot!

Monday morning came and it was raining! I really don't like shooting indoors...I'm all about natural light! But there was no time to reschedule, so we went indoors. I was so nervous, but God was so good, and I love the images we were able to get! The weather started to clear up, so we did get to run to the park for a few.
